The editorial team welcomes research articles from scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the field of Christian education. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous <strong>double-blind review process</strong> conducted by qualified reviewers.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">This journal provides <strong>open access</strong> to all of its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Authors retain the copyright of their articles and grant the journal the right of first publication under <strong>the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA)</strong> license.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><em>Peada'</em></strong> from the root word <em>ada'</em> means teaching or doctrine; <em>peada'</em> means advice or guidance. Advice is understood as a good teaching or lesson. The reason is that the concept of <em>peada'</em> boils down to character education, which is the core of parental education for children or the younger generation in general in the life of the Toraja people. Authentic evidence in Toraja society is <em>londe</em> (rhymes) in various types, including types of advice rhymes used in educating the younger generation in everyday life.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">In the context of Christianity, the Book of Proverbs is translated as <em>Sarambu Peada'</em>.<em> Sarambu Peada'</em> which is aimed especially at young people, teaches that true wisdom cannot be obtained outside of God. Wisdom helps to distinguish between good and evil, right and wrong, divine perspective or human perspective (cf. Proverbs 1:2-7). <em>Sarambu Peada'</em> contains things that are easy to do without a time limit. Either connotatively or denotatively, the meaning of <em>peada'</em> always leads to wisdom (<em>kakinaan</em>).</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Jesus, who is the Great Teacher, besides teaching knowledge to fill the hearts and minds of the disciples, also using his life as the fruit of His teaching to strengthen and firm the believers. Therefore, the true <em>peada'</em> is only found in Christ. In Indonesia, this tension is frequently addressed without a clear pedagogical framework that integrates faith and learning coherently. This study aims to develop a biblical–pedagogical framework for integrating the doctrine of creation (creatio ex nihilo) within Christian Religious Education (CRE) for primary students. Employing a qualitative research design through literature analysis and classroom-based case studies in Indonesian Christian primary schools, this study examines how the doctrine of creation can be taught as divine revelation rather than as a competing scientific explanation. The findings indicate that when creation is presented theologically as an act of God’s sovereign will, students engage scientific knowledge critically while maintaining biblical authority as the foundation of learning. This study proposes a biblical–pedagogical framework that positions Christian teachers as facilitators, reconcilers, and transformers in guiding students toward an integrated understanding of faith and knowledge. Joshua emerges as an educator deeply rooted in the Word of God, establishing obedience to divine law as the foundation for character formation among the people. His exemplary leadership demonstrates that effective education must be embodied through personal integrity. Furthermore, Joshua underscores the significance of conscious moral choice, urging the community to actively and responsibly choose God. He also fosters identity awareness by recalling the historical acts of God, positioning education as a means of transmitting faith across generations. This analysis reveals that educating in the manner of Joshua entails shaping learners who are faithful, morally grounded, and anchored in spiritual identity. These findings hold relevance for the development of transformative and contextually responsive Christian educational practices in nowadays.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji figur Yosua sebagai model pendidikan Kristen melalui pendekatan teologis dan metode <em>library research</em>. Yosua tampil sebagai pendidik yang berakar kuat pada firman Tuhan, menjadikan ketaatan terhadap hukum Allah sebagai landasan pembentukan karakter umat. Keteladanannya dalam kepemimpinan menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan yang efektif harus diwujudkan dalam integritas hidup. Selain itu, Yosua menekankan pentingnya pilihan moral yang sadar, mengajak umat untuk memilih Allah secara aktif dan bertanggung jawab. Ia juga membangun kesadaran identitas melalui pengingatan sejarah karya Allah, menjadikan pendidikan sebagai sarana pewarisan iman lintas generasi. Telaah ini menunjukkan bahwa mendidik seperti Yosua berarti membentuk peserta didik yang beriman, bermoral, dan berakar pada identitas spiritual.
