Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

  1. GENERAL GUIDELINES
  • Authors are required to register as author before submitting a manuscript.
  • Articles must conform to the Author Guidelines and the official Template available on the journal website.
  • The writing template can be downloaded here
  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system on the PEADA’ e-journal portal at: https://peada.iakn-toraja.ac.id

 

  1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MANUSCRIPTS
  • The submitted manuscript must be original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Articles may be based on literature studies or field research that are relevant to Christian Education and and its various interdisciplinary aspects.
  • All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection is the sole authority of the editorial board, based on recommendations from peer reviewers.

 

  1. ARTICLE STRUCTURE
    A manuscript must follow the standard scientific structure, consisting of:
    - Title of the Article
    - Author’s Name (without academic titles)
    - Author’s Affiliation
    - Abstract and Keywords
    - Introduction
    - Research Methods

    - Results and Discussion
    - Conclusion

    -Acknowledgements (optional)

    -References

 

  1. WRITING FORMAT
    - Language: Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
    - Manuscript length: 4000–6500 words (including figures and tables).
    - Paper size: A4 (210 x 297 mm).
    - Margins: Left 3 cm, Top 2.5 cm, Right 2 cm, Bottom 2.5 cm.
    - Line spacing: 1.25.
    - Font: Cambria, 12 pt (except for the article title), single column format.
    - Article Title: Maximum 14 words, written in either Bahasa Indonesia or English, using NewsGoth CN BT font, 15 pt, without subheadings.

 

  1. AUTHOR INFORMATION
  • Author names should be written without academic degrees, placed below the article title in Cambria 12 pt with a 1.5 cm left margin.
  • If there are multiple authors, the corresponding author should be indicated with a superscript number (*) following the name. Only one corresponding email should be provided.
    Example: Marthin1*, Luther2
  1. AFFILIATION AND EMAIL
    The author’s full affiliation must be written below the author’s name, followed by the corresponding email address.
  2. ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS

Abstracts must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. They should include the research objectives, methods, theoretical framework, and findings.
Format:
- English Abstract: justified alignment
- Indonesian Abstract: written in accordance with PUEBI, Cambria 11 pt, left margin 1.5 cm, single spacing
- Length: 150–200 words
- Keywords: 3–5 words, written below each abstract and separated by commas.


8. ARTICLE CONTENT

a. Introduction: Explains the research topic, main research question, the approach to answering it, and the thesis statement. 

b. Research Methods: Describes systematically the steps taken to answer the research question. 

c. Results and Discussion: Presents data, theories used, interpretation of results, and theoretical construction or modification. 

d. Tables and Figures: 

- Placement: centered on the page. 

- Table captions should appear above the table, while figure captions should appear below the figure. 

- For captions longer than one line, use single spacing. 

e. Conclusion: Provides answers to the main research question, not merely a summary, but a critical reflection and implication for future studies.

f. Acknowledgments (if applicable): May include recognition of institutions or individuals who contributed significantly to the research (e.g., funding). 

9. REFERENCES AND CITATIONS

- The reference style follows Turabian 8th Edition (Full Note). 
- Authors are required to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero. 
- Footnotes and references must comply with the journal’s style guide.
